Description
This is another watercolor from my Swedish Project I did while in Sweden on a study abroad.
This character is Doctor Glas from the novel of the same title. The novel is written in a way that you are seeing the world through what is written in the journal of Doctor Glas. It takes place in Stockholm and is a story of murder and love forever unrequited.
If you compare this to the "Wonderful Adventures of Nils" Illustration I did you can really just see the huge difference in these two books we had to read even though they were published in the same year.
